Welcome to Woodward Middle School! My family and I recently moved to Bainbridge Island from Issaquah! I was previously a School Counselor at Issaquah High School for 15 years. My husband and I have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter, and we are all so excited for our new adventure here on beautiful Bainbridge Island! I graduated from Willamette University in Oregon in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2010 with a Master of Education in School Counseling. I received my National Boards in School Counseling in 2017, and re-certified in 2021. 

I have always been passionate about collaborating with school staff, parents and communities to support all students. I believe all students should have positive and caring adults in their lives, and strive to be a safe and supportive person as they navigate their own development. I am so excited to work with the 7th graders this year - we are all new to Woodward together! My favorite hobbies are playing with my kids, reading, baking and watching sports! My favorite season is the Fall because I’ve always loved the excitement and anticipation of starting a new school year, and I also love when the weather starts to get chilly. I am really looking forward to working with you all and your families this year!
