I am so excited to be teaching science at Woodward Middle School this year! Science is both a body of knowledge and a set of skills. I look forward to getting this year’s students and helping them grow in both arenas.

I’ve been teaching at Woodward since 2011 and my driving philosophy focuses on curiosity and fascination. The world is so interesting! There’s still so much we don’t know and what we do know often works in crazy wacky ways. Whether its geology, physics, biology or chemistry there is wonder to be found in all the little intricacies and how they work together.

When I'm not teaching, you’ll find me hanging out with my wife, son, daughter, and dog, probably in our garden. We enjoy camping, backpacking, rock climbing, sciencing, making art, cooking, and foraging together.
