Woodward Middle School Softball Information

Welcome to the 2026 WMS Softball season! Below is all the key information regarding tryouts, team selection, required gear, and our fall schedule.

Tryout Information

• Dates: Wednesday, September 2 – Friday, September 4 (3 days)

• Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Location: Sakai Baseball Field

• Required Gear: Softball glove and cleats

FinalForms Requirement

All required documents and sports clearances must be uploaded and cleared throughFinalForms prior to the first day of tryouts. Athletes will not be allowed on the field until cleared.

Team Selection & Announcement

• Team Structure: 1 team (14–16 players)

• Roster Announcement: Final team roster will be sent out via email on Friday, September 4 by 8:00 PM.

Practice & Game Schedule

• Practice: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM (No practice on Fridays).

• Games: Tuesdays and Thursdays (First game: Sept 17 | Final game: Oct 20)

• Note: There will be one Friday game on October 16.
