I’ve been teaching at Woodward since 2001! As I tell my students, I wouldn't stick around this long if I didn't love it here! I have taught just about everything in my career, but have been focusing on my passion, science, for the past 21 years. Besides teaching, I also coach Cross Country and am one of the Natural Helper advisors at Woodward.

Outside of Woodward, I am also a basketball coach. I was the head boys coach at Bainbridge High School for 11 years and I was also one of the founders of ROOTS Basketball, the youth program on the island. I took over as the head coach at North Kitsap HS in 2015 and had the honor to coach the program to it's first State Championship in school history in 2020.

Beyond the classroom and the court, I see myself as an outdoor enthusiast where I love to fish, fly fish, hike, backpack, boat, forage for plants/mushrooms, and hunt.

I'm looking forward to another outstanding year here at Woodward!
