Coming Soon: Real-Time Bus Tracking for Families

We're excited to announce a new partnership with BusRight, a school transportation technology company, to improve safety, efficiency, and communication in our bus system. The BusRight Parent App allows parents and guardians to track their child’s bus route in real time — right from their phone.

What this means for families:
Parents of bus riders will be able to create an account to view live bus locations, stop arrival time estimates, route details, and more.

When will it be available?
Families should have received an email this week with instructions on how to download the app and activate their account. The system will officially launch on February 2nd.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to transportation at 206-842-4641 with any questions. We’re looking forward to providing families with greater visibility and peace of mind in our student transportation system.

Social Emotional Learning - January Seminar Lessons

Woodward’s Seminar is one of Woodward’s social/emotional learning platforms where students participate in a 35 minute class and discussion every Monday.  Seminar covers various topics that are connected to student’s social emotional health and well being.

On January 5th, students used their Seminar time to learn about Student Led Conferences which took place January 21st, 22nd & 23rd and how they need to prepare.

The January 12th Seminar lesson was in honor of Martin Luther King and his legacy.

The final Seminar of the month on January 26th introduced the When, Then Strategy for creating habits and discussed how values, goals and habits connect.
