Jeannie Donoghue

From the Principal

Woodward Families,
We want to say a huge "Thank You!" to our wonderful PTO for spoiling our staff! They surprised us with delicious breakfast goodies and plenty of coffee to fuel the day. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

We are incredibly grateful for such a thoughtful and supportive community of parents and families.

Please join this group at tonight's PTO meeting, either online or in person at 6:00. More information can be found in the PTO section below.

Sincerely,
Jeannie Donoghue
WMS Principal

Cocoa and Jazz - Volunteers Needed

Our Cocoa & Cool Jazz event is coming up on 12/19, and we’d love your help to make it extra special! This is a great opportunity for band parents who want to hear their students play while helping to start the school day with music and cheer.

Sign up to volunteer and help brighten a winter morning with us and share the joy of cocoa, cider, and jazz!

Not sure about your volunteer status? Email the front office: kgellert@bisd303.org

Want to become a volunteer, or need to renew? Complete the BISD Volunteer Application process.

Woodward Wishlist

Are you looking for ways to contribute to the school without the availability to donate your time? Check out the Woodward Wishlist! There are many items ranging from battery charging stations for the PE microphones to space heaters and preferred pens.

Thank you for helping to make Woodward such an amazing place to learn!

WMS Yearbooks

We have about 150 students who have not yet purchased their yearbooks. To double check your order status, please email kgellert@bisd303.org.

If you still need to order yours, you can order online or bring cash or check to the WMS Office. These will only be sold for a couple more weeks so don't miss out!

Lost and Found

Our lost-and-found is currently heavy on the “lost” and a little shy on the “found.” If your student is missing a jacket, sweatshirt, water bottle, or lunch box, send them on a quick treasure hunt through the racks to reclaim their items.

Thanksgiving Break

A reminder that there is no school next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as we all take a moment to rest and reflect on all the things we are grateful for and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

WMS Athletics

Boys' Basketball

Our boys' basketball team is off to a strong start with a win on the road in their first game of the season. They will host their first home game today after school!

Check out the game schedule so you don't miss any of the action!

Thankful Thoughts

With thanksgiving coming up there are many different things to be thankful for all around Woodward. Leadership is thankful for many different things around the school and in their lives outside of school such as: The teachers willingly taking their time to grade papers thoroughly, for the people in the school, the access to fresh water and good food, the education, the close bonds with friends, their pets, music, people taking care of themselves, their access to homes, sushi, their siblings, the clubs the school has to offer, their families, the teachers and staff. The leadership class hopes that you have a good break and take time to remember all that you’re thankful for.
