I've lived on Bainbridge Island since 2006 with my husband and (now grown) two children. We have loved being involved in our island community, specifically with our neighborhood, roller hockey, rowing, basketball and school activities.

I love teaching Social Studies to middle schoolers. I think it is the most important class a student can take in today's world. Linking history to the present is a passion of mine. Another passion for me is DEI work, specifically working with our staff Equity Team and supporting our Ally Club and new Culture Club at Woodward.
